Another Beautiful Day for a Ride! Anyone else get out today?

It did rain pretty hard a few days back...that should have taken care of a lot of the salt (although prob not all of it)

I just came back from a short hop (and from washing the bike afterwards). Still plenty of salt out there but it was worth getting out on the bike for the first time in 4 months!

Took the bike up to Timmies yesterday and again this morning. The impact on the young girls is starting to wane. I'm pretty sure I'll be heading out for a late afternoon java as well. This is starting to become old hat. Do I need to submit regular reports or can we call it good?

edit, heading out for coffee run, will try different Timmies, hope to recapture some of the old magic.

Took her to the gas station on Liberty St in Bowmanville. Saw another rider on the road. Sand all over the place, so kept it short and main roads only.

Took the Husqvarna for a quick Braaap-Braaap around town today. Felt really good. Saw one other rider on a Harley. Gonna wait a couple weeks and rains before the Duc sees sunlight.

Still sick...
Heard a lot of bikes ripping on the highway. My time will come. Need to get better

I was out today. I saw a lot of bike's out in bowmanville today. I swear everybody in my neighbourhood was out lol

Finally got out! Just a quick 15 min boot to test her out after a long hibernation. Felt amazing.

+11 tomorrow, Im gonna go out for at least a few hours during the day, today was too much of a tease.

Went around Lake Simcoe and then Newmarket, about 90 mins. Going to take her to work tomorrow, then back in storage as the next few weeks dont look so good. Took it very slow around corners and constantly watching for crap on the road. Came across several water puddles which spanned across sections of road around the lake, potholes and uneven broken pavement which made the ride fun. Was really enjoyable watching people on the lake in portable ice huts and snowmobiles while I was on the road on the bike. Saw about 5-7 other riders.

Gorgeous day out. Did about 200km to Forks and back

We still have about 2 ft of snow out here in Waterloo. The roads are fine, but not so good in the dirt.Took my Ossa out for a shakedown (my old bones that is) But got mired down a few times in deep snow.Still lots of fun tho.:) Bubble tub...scotch...ahhhh.

I told myself i'll only go out for 20 minutes.

It ended up being over an hour :O

Wore my leathers, wasn't bad at all. Supposedly, it's alot nicer tomorrow! But man, felt great after 4 months!!

Awesome day. Looks like some of you enjoyed it as much as I did! Even threw on the leathers for the first time and like lator-illa said it wasn't even chilly at all! Strange how +8 feels like Summer after Winter...but before Winter that same +8 is cold as ****!

I just got back from an hour and a half ride... the heated gear made a huge difference.
