What's a good one to start with?
I took a peek at th X-men stuff, but it was from well after the comic jumped the shark.
It's mind-boggling how many times that groups ages, and relationships have been revised.
By "the X-Men stuff" do you mean ComicBookGirl19's Youtube channel? She's done two "Epic History: X-Men" docs so far and is working on a third. I found them to be quite good so far. Both are available on Vimeo on Demand and she covers both before and after the said shark-jumping. She covers both comics and many movies, quite heavily and in depth, and is also not tough to look at. Take a look at her "Zealot" CosPlay from her last calendar, for example:

ThrowbackStudioz uncanny x-men 1. I think it was Rise of the Phoenix.
The production looks good, it's just that I lost interest not long after Wolverine showed up.
Everyone went from being enhanced, to being Superman. X-Factor might have been nice.
That's a pretty good video. I don't understand why these large production companies get so butt hurt over this. They should absorb them and make the product, clearly there's demand. They need to be more 'iTunes' and less 'Napster' with technology, meaning, embrace it and make it work, not go all Blockbuster and slowly die off as people move on.
The movie, that the video was basically an advertisement for, is the passion project of a group that includes a bunch of Hollywood professionals. As you can see it includes a bunch of recognizable B-list actors. The effects are done by people who worked on various past Star Trek projects for CBS and Paramount Studios. People who are working on the project full time are being paid, but not at their normal rates.
I figure that they're going after Axanar, but not the many other fan projects, because it's being made to a professional standard in a year they're releasing the third movie in the reboot series and a year before CBS launches their own streaming service, that will use a Star Trek series as its tentpole production.
Yeah that makes sense. I did recognize a few of the actors. Guess they'll drag this into the courts as long as they can until the 3rd movie is out and the streaming service goes live. Then it will either be forgotten or blown up.
If they drag it out at all, Axanar is dead. They don't have the money for a legal battle, even though Alec Peters is also a lawyer.
This might have a counter affect and bring attention to it. David vs Goliath and all that.
Could bring them more of an audience?
