Accidentally put OIL in GASTANK.. need help asap!

It won't cause any damage just sitting in the gastank for the whole winter?

It's oil. Gas is made from oil. No worries.... But you'll have to remove the tank and lines in spring to 'wash' it out properly....

He knows it can't defy the laws of physics!

This!

Lol could you imagine the amount of smoke coming from that if you actually COULD or DID run 1:1! I think I'm going to start running my dirtbike at 2:1, help keep the power valves clean.

Most small 2 strokes run @ 40-50:1. You'd never get one to even start below 20:1. And I don't think that anyone who's saying 'just run it anyway' has mentioned or noticed that op used chain oil. Not motor or 2 stroke oil.
Drain - rinse - repeat. It doesn't take rocket appliances.

i do run a ltr of 2stroke in my cummins with every fill up

That's apples and fighter planes.
1 litre is cut to what.......120:1? And you're talking about a diesel V8 vs a single cylinder Honda. You're not dealing with plugs or the same type of ignition timing.......

i know,,,,lol, im only messing around cause i sold my business and now im bored. but ya take the tank off or somehow get as much out as you can. the oil will probably erode the fuel lines if you plan on leaving it all winter.

Dude, stop already with the goofy thoughts. Girl had an issue and asked for help, posting run 1:1 mix in a fuel injected motor, debating what your sled would run on, and telling her the oil will erode fuel lines? 2 stroke oil in your cummins? Girl needed help.
Go buy another business, but be sure its a flower shop or something.

i seen the level of help the board suggested, that's not the only thing she should worry about.

it's true, 2 stroke in my truck to lube injectors. giving the quality of fuel these days low sulfur crap

Really? Drain the gas, flush if you feel the need to. What extra useful advice did you add other than showing you don't know how much oil to mix into your fuel on a two stroke?

well lets see, i told you i put 2stroke oil in my truck,

my main advice would be not to take most of the crap spewed out here

Don't piss in a gas container, later on you may forget about it and add 1/1 gas/piss to your tank

What bloody fun is that?

Rule of thumb is smell it first!

You know what would be fun - get local "jokers" from this thread banned for a few days to cool down. First, you're not helping a person in this thread. 2nd, when someone does a search on topic, if stuff like this happens to them, they have to filter through pages of your bullsh*t. If you think you're funny - you're not. If someone asks how to get rid of the oil in gas tank and you tell them about your cummins diesel in your lawnmower with 1:1 oil/gas mix, well, no one gives a sh+t - you're not helping and you're not funny. If you need to own a business to get a life, go get one.
