Normal process takes about 1-1.5 years. Accelerated...can probably have it within 6 months.Apparently the more we bring in, the more want to leave (percentage leaving 30% above historical average). They are most likely to leave four to seven years after arriving. How long does it take to get papers? That seems to be an important point not raised.

The immigrants wanting to leave are not the fresh boatloads, but the previous 'cohort' that came in, settled, got 'assimilated' to a point and now saw the $hitshow that's happening and figured 'the he$% with this'.
I know plenty of Polaks that are packing up and leaving. And a few of them regretting that decision very much because going back to Poland for a vacation, is much different than living there.
Some are happy, but the majority have a romanticized view of the motherland where things were awesome. Meanwhile, just like everywhere, costs are spiraling out of control, and it's not all unicorns and rainbows when they get there.
