but seriously, 3 cops, 80 year old woman? I'd love to hear how this use of force is justified...

This is an 80 year old woman out at 3:30am... she may have had a weapon... she may have been involved in some criminal activity that was reported to police earlier. Who knows. The elderly are comprised of all manner of people you see every day... it's just they're old. There are murderers, nazis, rapists, thieves, arsonists, and pedophiles all over the age of 70. If they're armed, they'll get no soft handed approach from a police officer. If some cop had to TAZER an 80 year old, there is going to be a damn good reason.

This is pretty true, though it will be hard for them to conjure up a weapon that wasn't on scene, like a knife or gun which could justify the use of he tazer. If she was brandishing a cane, then deploying the tazer would be way over the top IMO. I still can't think of any situation where the use of a tazer is warranted but the use of a gun isn't. Don't know why cops shoild have them at all.

Why is a 80 year old out at 3:30 a.m.? Hmmmmm? I bet there's more to this. Personally I think anyone that's out past 2AM should be tasered.
 
Can't wait to hear this story. Who the hell tazes an 80 year old woman...would have been better for PR if he kicked her in the c@nt for gods sake. Crazy
