3 days and still no safety

I jumped on the bandwagon of hating Ted myself.
Untill I saw him perform one.
Then I changed my tune.
I think a lot of the haters out here have never actually seen Ted work.

He's alright in my book.
Long live Ted.

I am the opposite. I liked him until I saw him work and experience his handiwork. If he was the only choice to get a bike safetied, I would give up riding. Don't trust him as far as I can spit.

The "New" Cycle World is the old "Motorcycle Superstore" from River st .. Still owned by John Pugh.. I'm sure that if you search old reviews of that hole in the wall on River st, you can relate to your current levels of crap service.

I would like to know where this is written into law as I do not believe it to be true. What could prevent a certified mechanic from doing a valid safety inspection away from his place of work? If the safety certificate is done poorly the mechanic's name and license would be in jeopardy. This is true irregardless of where he does the inspection.

I asked my mechanic (Auto) who has safetied about eight bikes for me in the last four years, if he could send someone out to my place to do a safety. He said no, has to be done at certified place of business. Which makes sense if you think about it.

Since the only things I take to the shop are tire installs and safeties, Ted's the man. And all the people who don't want to get ripped off at shops, learn to do things yourself.

+1
Let's see. Motorcycle industry+springtime. Should only take a couple of hours. Bwahahaha!

What the hell are you talking about man? It has been spring since March, and bikes being bought at the store should be given priority, they must be as incompetent as you, they should hire more people if they know it's that busy every spring, either way they SUCK.

This is the longest 3 days in history.

Got a used bike on monday. Im a new rider so I called cycleworld scarborough to pick up the bike(no plates so can't ride it) and have a safety and an oil change done. 3 days later and still no word. Is it normal for such a long wait? I called the service department and the guy said that they still haven't gotten to it yet. He was pretty rude about it too. Said "WE will call YOU when its ready".

Sounds like a service manager problem, personally, after that, i would contact the salesman and suggest he look after it now or take the bike back! Obviously the dealership dosent seem to care or they don't know about how the service dept. treats you! Should have been ready for the weekend!:( Better remind them who the "customer" is!

"WE will call YOU when its ready".

this means.....We have 321 bikes ahead of yours......what makes YOU so special

Just wait your turn !!!!

He is special because he is a "Customer" If they couldn't get his bike ready, they should have told him when he bought it! 321 bikes ahead of him--obviously dont need his business---go to someplace that cares! You must work for Cycleworld with an attitude like that!
