299 in Victoria driver CHARGED

Motorcycle rear ends car.. guessing an 80ish km/h speed difference.

One more video to follow.

Motorcycle hitting stationary vehicle. Probably 120 km/h speed difference.
Note the rider's head smashing through the windshield of the car behind the collision. Pay attention to how the driver was hanging by his head before sliding off the car.

Can't imagine how traumatized the person in the car would be having a human torpedo smash through their windshield like that.

Now. Mr. GTM, if you think that a bike closing at 200 km/h won't do damage enough to potentially hurt occupants of a car, you need a serious dose of reality.
Hopefully BEFORE you ever consider getting on a bike again.

And lastly... probably a little too technical, but...

181.4 kg bike (400 pounds to make it easy)
200 km/h = 55.56 meters per second (!!!)
Therefore:
Momentum = 10080.8064 kg (22,224.374 pounds) PER METER SECOND.

More than enough to put a bike through the engine block or the rear of a car and into the passenger compartment.

I don't see the big deal either (and I mean. let's get real for a second)
What are we talking about here? The fact someone was speeding - and nothing happened?
Or the possibility that something may happen?
Both situations seem to be pretty mundane, happening around us daily

Nor understand why they are wasting money trying to convict him

Those tickets against the mom... I'm sure she just laughed at them, pretty sure anyone could fight and win those charges.

And what if the cops did nothing and in the near future this champ killed a family? Everyone would be calling for the cops' heads. I understand going fast, but theres a time and place for everything. And this champ deserves everything that comes his way. Now if he did this on an empty highway in the middle of the night id have a different opinion

one thing people seem to not remember, is that this guy has ZERO legal right to be on the rode in the first place. it is tantamount to trespassing. Would you want someone to come on your property, and do something dangerous? even if he couldnt hurt someone? no!

Actually, you would get a street racing law that places unlimited power in the hands of police to punish citizens without a trial.

If you are a male of a certain age and low income you are going to get prosecuted for something, so it might as well be something fun.

Will be interesting if this sticks in court. I still think it will be hard to place him as the rider without a thread of doubt.

Of course the punishment will be how much he spends on the defense....

I see your point, but charging him again (he already has many convictions) will not solve anything unless the cops can prove he did it. I don’t think they can.

It seems to be that the cops only pressed charges because of the media attention, but they are no real chances of conviction. Therefore is a waste of money.

Its the cops job to arrest and press charges, courts take over after and deal with it. I have zero sympathy for this guy, i dunno about you guys but i wouldn't want to share the road with this guy

I wish that people would stop posting "What If..." questions and really focus on the "What is" instead. Getting really annoying. Just convolutes the thread.

nope that's in trash talk. I thought anything goes there.

Before it was moved to trash talk he was talking about pretty much re-enacting the Magnotta dude to peoples family members.....
