Yesterday's ride out to Port Stanley, with no rain!
Basically I wanted to get as far West as I could, which ended up being London, then south. Left a bit late.
QEW, 403, 401, got me to London. Not really much to see. The downtown was deserted. Just some sketchy people hanging around.
On to St Thomas. Eek well their downtown wasn't a happy place (lots of abandon buildings). But some interesting train stuff.
Port Stanley - Nice little town did the loop through the town, saw the bridge lift up. I would have stuck around but the beach/port parking has no shady spots.
Highlight I the trip! I fill up just outside of town, then pulled over to the side of the parking lot to figure out where I head next. I saw another Harley cop bike go by. Lost sight of them, but he pulled into the gas station, and came to where I was and parked next to me. Nice! He said he saw another cop bike the other day and wondered if I was that other person. Anyhow we stuck up a good conversation, really nice rider, old school kind, ton's of knowledge on bikes and years of riding and building stuff. He had a 1984 Harley Electra Glide with only 30,000 miles on it. See pic below.
Here's how it went.
