The 750 has more HP than the 848 does. Also, the first time I met an 848 rider, he pulled into the parking lot to say hi to one of our female friends. He then tells us that he has 4 other Ducati's and they all keep breaking. To top it off, he tells us he dropped $6,000 off the 404 in cash. And finally, as he leaves, he manages to stall his bike 3 times.

While he was talking my friend sent us a picture of a man with a gigantic photoshopped penis on WhatsApp.

The 2011 Evo 848 is 140 hp

You guys are comparing rear wheel hp of one bike to crank hp of the other.

Thanks for the clarification.

And holy **** it's 50/50?!?!

Be different. Go red. Here's me with mine :)

I do like the red/white but my only quirk with it is the same as the black/white. They both have grey noses. It matches nothing else on the bike. The blue/white 600 has a blue nose. They should have color matched. They did the same with the 750's and I can't stand it. Otherwise nice ride

Well thanks for the input folks. I still sat at the dealer for an hour trying I decide but I ended up going with the the white and blue

From everything I'm reading the 750 is very similar to the 600 until the top where the 750 is more similar to the 1000. I think for the price difference it's definitely the way to go. I was more concerned with how it would feel to ride if that makes sense. I was hoping it would be similar to my 6 and from the reviews it seems it will. I think now it's just a color choice... thanks for the replies so far folks
I own the 750 and have ridden the 600 - the bikes feel and ride the same, the difference is on the HP - the numbers may say that it is similar on the lower power band but its not true, it FEELS like a HUGE difference in all power bands

get the 750

but my real advice is

Buy back your old bike (probably 2k) and get an older Gixxer - having a brand new bike for the street is just an ego thing, not necessary.

Newmarket like admin fees. Like more than one. I've seen a contract with my own eyes. I wouldn't buy a tricycle from them.

Thought about going that route but insurance hardly changed and because I have extended warranty on the 600 I can transfer it to the new bike. So warranty until 2017. That and I like the 11-13's better with the exception of the brown 2010.

But it doesn't feel right if I'm spit-shining my 5yr old bike in front of Timmies
