Which color scheme do you like more?

The 750 is a much more comfortable bike to ride every day due to the characteristics of the larger motor, having both better torque at lower RPM, and nearly litre bike performance higher up in the rev range.

Bigger rear sprocket + wheel further back by a whopping 5 mm

My co-worker has a 2011 GSXR 750. I am amazed with how light it is. The advantage I can see over the 600 would be the increased low and mid range power which would be appreciated on the street. Either one is obviously an amazing bike and great option.

Would you be able to test ride a 750? That might be the decision right there. ;)
 
Get the 750. Yes it is worth it just for the engine. The extra midrange makes it such a nicer street bike than the 600. Go blue/white.

From everything I'm reading the 750 is very similar to the 600 until the top where the 750 is more similar to the 1000. I think for the price difference it's definitely the way to go. I was more concerned with how it would feel to ride if that makes sense. I was hoping it would be similar to my 6 and from the reviews it seems it will. I think now it's just a color choice... thanks for the replies so far folks :thumbup:

The only colour scheme for a gixxer that matters is the Orange/Black.

Though whatever one you choose, just get a better exhaust on it. Can't believe how fugly the stock exhausts are.
 
I have the 2011 gsxr 750 and sometimes I find the 750 is just not enough power however love the ride.

Not sure you would be happy with the 600 if you have the need for speed.
 
Colors can always be changed to your liking with bike wraps. I like to find a guy local that is good at bike wraps so I can change my bike every year thinking I have a new bike. :thumbright:

And take off quite a bit of weight in the process. My co-worker did this to his GSXR 750. Now he is looking at carbon fibre wheels. Wonder how it will handle with the unsprung weight removed?

like sh** , unless he changes the springs and dampers. I would not trust CF wheels for road use.

Does your price calculations include 5 years of difference to insurance? The whole reason the 600 exists is for insurance.

The white wheels thing used to piss me off. I love the look, hate the constant cleaning. Powder coat might make it easier to clean them. If I go with the white and blue bike I'll have white wheels again though :twisted:

If someone cares about how much they pay for insurance, why hop on an SS?
There are smaller/bigger bikes that will be a lot cheaper to insure than a 600.
