It'll be interesting to see the answer to your question. If purchased in the U.S. does the warranty transfer over? All you'd need to pay is 13% HST at the border right?

US is selling for approx 13k plus taxes. KHI will not let a Canadain buy a new bike for export to Canada. Tried already. Unless you have a US address you are SOL. Warranty would be Valid in US only not in Canada.

I tried to buy from several dealers stateside only to have the door closed each time.

If anybody has been able to do this in 2012 please let me know.

That is one sweet ride u got there...congrats! I wonder if they would sell 2012 model to Canadian when 2013 model is out in the US....

If money is not an issue ,buy the 2012,but there are some really good deals out there on gen1 14's
