2012 CBR1000RR Revealed!

ok u can read but u gotta learn to read better before attempting to call someone out. i type everything in lower case because it saves me 0.970 seconds per post. u can see how it can add up to a lot of time i can use towards other things, like riding. something u should consider.

[SARCASM]Do you have any more advice for me? I'm really interested in what you have to say.[/SARCASM]

As if they're looking down at their gauges...

LCD tachs are garbage, conventional dials are way easier to glance at quickly.

totally agree 100%. I don't even look at my tach on my ZX10. I just rely on the shift light.

in my previous post i said hondas are winning "partly" due to a better TC system. yup hp is also another factor, as well as the tranny. so u should learn how to read and know what YOU are talking about. cuz you dont.

Yeah it has nothing to do with Stoner being awesome or anything. A monkey could win the GP on a Honda...

You reek of newb. This is your first year riding I bet.

i never said stoner is not awesome did i? if someone is racing motogp they are talented. it DOES NOT need to be said

you reek of a dimwit, this must be your first year getting out of prison.

lol

Yeah man it's the traction control and transmission and flywheel and extra horsepower and windshield shape and the lighter fairing bolts and better welds on the exhaust blah blah blah clueless...

Check out his thread history to get an insight into his newb mindset. Some of the threads he started are pure laugh riots..

I don't need electronics, especially on the street. The top-shelf ABS? Nice option.

just look at simoncelli, previous seasons he was no where near the podium. this season on the updated honda he can haul butt along side the aliens. even dovi, he's better but this season he's way faster.

I've only crashed once on the street and TC wouldn't have helped. I tend to agree that I don't need traction control as I can't think of more than once or twice that it would've kicked in anyway. But why say no to it if its available? I'd keep it at the lowest setting and ride happily with a small safety-net in the back of my mind. I've never locked my front brake either so ABS is technically unnecessary too.

That's team and rider dynamic. Some riders jive better with certain teams and certain bikes. Rossi took 3 manufacturers to the championship. Riders are an integral part of the development process. No doubt some manufacturers have certain advantages on certain bikes, but they require a good rider to get them there.

Simoncelli was 8th overall last year and he's in the same position so far this year. He's only been in the GP 1 and a half seasons, both years with Honda. Not sure where your point is.

You mean his previous season when he was on a satellite bike? They're all updated, Jorge has been up there as well and both he and Spies have run away with a race this year. Did the Honda crew misplace the magic wands during those races?

gotta look at the big picture, the championship, one or two races dont mean jack.

anyways back on topic, yea the front end of this bike is gross. the rims are hot though. wonder if they can fit on older 1000rr

lol

This thread is approaching a new level of stupid now anyways. I doubt Skyrider has ever so much as sat on a liter bike let alone rode one for any extent. His opinion about Honda and this new bike is worth his level of experience....... so not much at all.

To get back on track: I hope dearly that Honda is developing a 1k V4 flagship for next year, that's the kinda shake-up manufacturers need to do every once in a while to keep things interesting. If they release a V4 superbike for 2013 it's gonna be the new benchmark.

This thread is approaching a new level of stupid now anyways. I doubt mmmnaked has ever so much as half a brain let alone a full one. His opinion about anything in general reflect on his IQ, which is about -2.

I'll take that as confirmation... first season rider, never been on a big kid bike?

re-read your post, jorge is placed behind casey, casey is on a honda, jorge on yami. so yeah, honda is dominating.

What do I need to re-read? 32 points is not domination and if there is a Yamaha in 2nd then Honda, as a manufacturer isn't dominating. If they were, they would have the top four spots in the championship.
