You dont watch racing? Ive always loved the look of those kind of aftermarket wheels commonly seen on high end race bikes, so I finally bought a set of Carrozzeria's 2 years ago...

Im really happy to see the manufactures step away from the tired 3 spokes, its about time those retire

What, you mean the BMW motorsports copy cat stripes wasn't substantial enough for you?

Honda's gonna have to do a lot more than that to topple the german giant.

.

Unfortunatly honda has never really been one to give chase.

Look how long it took them to jump from 900cc to 1000cc when the gsxr 1000 was walking all over them.

Or when the Cbr1100xx last its fastest production street bike title to the busa in 99, im still waiting for their response to that one.

Looks awesome but reading the article:

The demo model does not have a 2nd gen C-ABS system nor traction control which is a big let down. No info on the motor either. Ideally I hope they kept the mid range and added a little at the top end.

New rims/showa forks/tach/front end looking good! Not so fond of the BMW-like HRC version though...

Depending on how the 1199 looks and if the R1 has any significant changes, this might be the bike I am looking for next year!

Not really a huge race fan, and ill get it for this but I always enjoy stock bikes. I don't know, I just like what the designers come up with and leave it at that. If this is where there going with designs then I got no problems. I do hat digital speedometers/tachometer though. I guess ill have to get used to them.

wheels look sick but other than that its still my least favorite 1000 astetically, and no updated electronics or powertrain bit of a let down.

Nobody noticed that it has BPF forks and a shock with separate comp and rebound? I dunno, all Honda really needs to do is fix the little issues the old bike had, put some better suspension on it, give the motor a bit more top end and some lighter wheels... recipe for success IMHO.

why pick Suzuki colours to reveal a new Honda bike?
Doesn't seem that radical either.... :(

Those are HRC colors for Asia, same as Repsol is for us.

PS: Not liking the looks, if there really is no engine difference, I'll be buying leftover 2010/11 blade come december

I like the looks. I like the idea of an improved version of the current bike. Your milage may vary.

Won't buy one, though... not with the RSV4 and Tuono out in the wild. Would rather have this than the BMW, however.

I was going to say... why'd they use BMW's colour scheme?

I'm also not a fan of digital tachs (my bike has one). Actually, I don't like digital gauges of any kind if I can avoid it. I like watching needles move around, lol. Although for my personal projects I usually use digital stuff because the displays can be smaller.

I noticed. And your wishes are what I was hoping to see on the new bike as well. If the motor is the same I hope they at least sorted the oil-burning issue. That and the sketchy thin paint issues.
