Milege on Tuono is not good, people have reported the light coming on at 170km. I think you should spend some time on forums and not just go by the mfg. specs.I think it's 17 on the s1000r same as tuono...mt09 is out now can't do 14 l tank

If I'm on it pretty good, yeah, I've seen that amount of k's. On the highway I've seen 250. Set it on cruise and relax.Milege on Tuono is not good, people have reported the light coming on at 170km. I think you should spend some time on forums and not just go by the mfg. specs.
Very true, very rare do you see the satisfied customers make posts on forums. If I'm on it pretty good, yeah, I've seen that amount of k's. On the highway I've seen 250. Set it on cruise and relax.
There is always horror stories on forums. One bike out of 200 has an issue, and it's all you read about... not the other 199 that were fine.
It os a performance bike. Want amazing mileage, buy a Grom...
Jolimg aside,
Groms are fun though.

EDIT: Does his year Tuono even come with Cruise?
I concur, if you`re going to get a Tuono, get the better engine and tech. The thread is 10k ish and there are some 17s almost new for 14k so its close and in the big picture as was said, for the improvements that jump is well worth it. the difference between a new MT and almost new Tuono is like 3k...almost a no brainer really.
DO NOT DO IT.I concur, if you`re going to get a Tuono, get the better engine and tech.
Damnit, don't tell me there's some for 14k i have a wedding to pay for still.
Elope. Buy a new bike.I concur, if you`re going to get a Tuono, get the better engine and tech.

If he doesn't buy it, send me your contact info as I have a friend interested.I have Tuono 2017 that I'm thinking of selling. It has 11,000 km on it. Tones of upgrades (all the highest quality, nothing like cheap Chinese knockoffs).
For $14K I'll include Race ECU and Aplrilia's Akrapovic slip-on (over $2.5K in value!) + some other small items, like LED bulbs, larger windshield, integrated taillight, tidy tail, etc.
For an extra $$$:
Ohlins shock
Sato Racing rearsets (the best upgrade for long rides as these are the only rearsets that allows moving pegs lower and forward). They are one of a kind, you can't buy them for new Tuono's!
Ventura rack
SW-Motech Blaze Panniers (modified to fit Tuono)
TWM Folding Brake & Clutch Lever
Bluetooth module
Last but not least, the valves were checked and adjusted 1,500 km ago.
Re tools for adjusting valves. Aprilia makes them to be used on an engine off the frame. If you adjust the valves without dropping an engine, you need to modify the tools a bit. Very simple! I did 3 valves jobs on Tuono's (2 on my 2012 and one on 2017) and never had a problem using the tools.

I've seen your bike on apriliaforum.
OP should check out your bike for sure. If it was a year ago, I would have done the same thing.
If the extras aren't spoken for, I'm looking for a used cam holding tool, and if the price is right, maybe the shock. There is one on apriliaforum for $450usd. Ttx is too much maintenance. The one off the old rsv4rf or the tuono factory is nice. Honestly I can't fault the sachs, but for the right price.
Those blaze panniers; the rack is a modified gsxr unit? (If I remember correctly).
Love the bike in black.

In town I rarely get more than 200 km out of the tank, but I could make it straight to Ellicottville, NY once on one tank! It's 260 km.That's a nice bike, what the fuel range like?
Who are you with and of you don't mind what do you pay for fz?I actually really, really, like this bike. I went hunting for quotes to replace my FZ and this was at the top of my list.
Now mind you i didn't work hard at it but this was blacklisted by more then 1 company, along with:
Meanwhile, FZ10 was only $20/month more then my FZ09.
- S1000R
- Tuono 1100
- Super Duke R
Echelon, they don't insure many sport bikes over 750 but FZ09 and FZ10 they will do.Who are you with and of you don't mind what do you pay for fz?
