Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Yup. Watched the Road Warrior again after watching Fury Road and Road Warrior felt like a breath of fresh air. Another thing that made Road Warrior superior was the absolutely awesome Brian May soundtrack. Music in Fury Road was weak to non-existent.

Where's his grave? I'd like to piss on it.

options for a low displacement retro styled new bike?

You've covered all the obvious bases. The availability of the bike you want is extremely limited in Canada.

Honda CB500X -Anybody have any reviews or thoughts on this bike

I've ridden it and the other CB500s in the series. The X was by far my favourite. Best handling version.

Just saw one today. Sounds like a lawnmower. An electric lawnmower.

    Mad Max

For the first time, I actually saw a female garbage collector a couple years ago in the Swansea area. From IMDB, Fury Road trivia: Writer and feminist Eve Ensler (The Vagina Monologues) was consulted to enhance the portrayal of female characters. So yes, there is a feminist subtext to the film.

    Biker Gang Shootout in Waco

I was always lead to believe "outlaw club members" were just a bunch of motorcycle enthusiasts who did charity toy runs.

Recent movies you saw - recommend or no

Watched Fury Road today. The good: absolutely stunning visuals, mind-blowing action sequences and stuntwork. The not-so-good: Tom Hardy just didn't work for me as Max, Mel will always be the one and only true Road Warrior. Too much action, yes, there can be such a thing. The whole movie was one...

Not many movies really scare me but It Follows definitely made me jump in my seat. A Japanese style low budget horror flick with a great retro soundtrack in the style of John Carpenter.

    Any welders on here?

I've worked blue collar jobs making money for school. The work itself is fine but the people and environment made me realize I'd never want to be there permanently. I once assembled bicycles at a Canadian Tire warehouse and the collective IQ of the full timers must've been below 100.

    Any welders on here?

How about an artisan welder? One who does work like custom home railings and gates? I enjoy doing bits of welding but can't see myself working in a trade environment. Too many redneck hoser knuckeldraggers, pardon the stereotype.

How many KM before you're in the club.

You're in the club (formerly known as the brotherhood) when you help out another rider who's broken down at the side of the road.

    Floyd mayweather vs. Manny pacquiao

Not one single solid punch was landed. Floyd turtling up when Manny had him on the ropes. Manny should've tried throwing hooks to the temples instead of smacking the arms which resulted in nothing but tiring himself out. Floyd's grappling and headlocks were BS, he did it just enough to get away...

    Floyd mayweather vs. Manny pacquiao

A rather unspectacular bout. I snoozed off a couple of times.
