Bon Voyage bigoted, xenophobic enemy of Canada. I hope the Ferryman on the Styx requires a Canadian Loonie...

This thread should be a barnburner, full of nuance and stimulating intellectual conversation.

I shook Parizeau's hand once, at Jean-Paul Riopelle's funeral. He was drunk (Parizeau that is - Riopelle was dead.)

Hope you washed your hands well after

I was in highschool when all this happened, so never really did care for his politics, but I always thought, "This guys probably most definitely knows how to party!"

He had an ideal. Wanted people to believe in it. Too many people saw the reality behind the ideal. Now we have media mogul at the head of the same party that seems to want to push the same agenda. And heeerreeee we goooo agaiinnn :(
No matter how much I love my original province... that makes me sad. It just causes an exodus, that's it that's all. Until the only ones that are left are the ones who want to separate lol

A familiar viewpoint; my cousin speaks very highly of where he lived but hated the separatists. He lives in Ottawa now.

Where's his grave? I'd like to piss on it.
