My Insurance Dropped From $1,047 to $876 (A Year)

Are you guys living in parallel reality? 50yo, over 20 years continuous motorcycle insurance, no tickets, no claims. The best I can find is: KTM 690 Enduro - $900 (liability + special perils) KTM 1290 Super Duke R - $1800 (full) Tried M&W, Allstate, Rider Plus, etc. Any suggestions?

Anyone in their late 20's insuring 1000 class bikes these days?

If Wawanesa considers a motorcycle to be a sport bike (and they do so for all naked bikes), they won't even touch one over 1000 cc, doesn't matter what license you have, how many years you insured, etc. I was with Wawanesa for several years. Last bike was Ducati Multistrada 1260 Pikes Peak. Got...

    Best local Aprilia mechanic/shop?

I dealt with many dealers/shops, Kawasaki, BMW, Ducati, Aprilia, etc. Some are better, some worse. Nobody's perfect. But Corsa Meccanica and George are by far the best shop I've dealt with. Sent from my SM-G981W using Tapatalk

    Shipping Address in Niagara Falls

Don't understand your comment. I'm talking about crossborderpickups.ca, not CBI

    Shipping Address in Niagara Falls

The invoice is always inside the package, never attached to the outside of the box (when shipped in US). Does it mean they open every package looking for an invoice?

    Shipping Address in Niagara Falls

How crossborderpickups.ca works in regards to duties and taxes? When US stores ship to US address they don't have to fill up a customs declaration form. Does crossborderpickups.ca do that? What price they put in the declaration?

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

Just checked the order status and it says: NOTE: This order has already shipped or has reached the final stages of processing. Therefore this order is no longer editable. [emoji3525][emoji3525] Anyway, thank you very much for your offer!

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

Thank you! I already ordered one, but if you happen to be close to the store and can pick up the tool - I'll definitely buy it from you.

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

Ended up ordering directly from MotoMfg. The shipping via USPS First class mail was $3.70. Yes, I know it will take about a couple of weeks to get it, but I couldn't make myself paying 7 times more for shipping than the tool worth...

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

Fortnine does not have it. Seems like I have no choice as to order it from US. BellisiMoto is a great store, I ordered several parts from them and never had any issues. What I hate is that the total comes to $40.31 from which the tool itself will cost me $5.31 (with 10% discount and some reward...

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

I'm not a mechanical engineer, but the manual calls for 30 Nm torque on this nut. Do you think 2 pin will be enough? The pins are pretty small diameter.

Where can I find Ducati Steering Head Nut Tool locally?

I need the tool to adjust steering stem bearings. It's only $14 from BellisiMoto, but the shipping costs $25. Any local place that stocks this or similar tool? Not interested in the original Ducati one as it costs over $100!

    Lane splitting

Don't know how it works in California, but I do know that lane splitting is also legal there. In the situation I previously described you'll actually be riding between moving cars (aka lane splitting, not filtering) and that's still going to be illegal. My point is, that they must make a space...

    Lane splitting

What about 2 SS bikes stuck between cars at a traffic light with a scooter in front of them? Unless they make a bike's dedicated space in front of traffic lights (and cages will not occupy it!), like everywhere in civilized countries, I don't see how it's going to work

    Lane splitting

Don't know whether it's gonna be an issue here (as we don't have that many bikes on the roads), but where all the motorcycles suppose to stop when they get to the front? In Europe (Barcelona, Switzerland, etc.) there are special places in front of intersections (marked "Motorcycles") where all...

    Horrible experience with Sena 30k

I also had a very bad experience with Sena support. I bought 20S dual pack from GP Bikes and one unit's jog dial stopped working. GP Bikes refused to exchange the unit (it was about 3 months old), they said they can ship it to Sena on my behalf, but it would be much faster if I do that myself...

    10kish or less bike

The only company I know that does not insure Tuono 1100 is Wawanesa. They consider it SS and don't insure any SS over 1000cc. I just got a renewal on Tuono from Allstate - $1,057/year full coverage (I'm in Toronto)
