Going on seven years riding (seven years insured as well) and currently have an inline 4 600 and getting close to wanting to move up.
Seems like finding a 1000cc bike that a company will actually touch is going to be fun. Already inquired about a Yamaha FZ1 and my current company does not insure it, and the only one that did through my broker was $$$$$. I don't mind a rate increase of course but for 6 months of riding there is a point where its silly.
Going into this search I got the feeling I am probably still too young for a rate even close to reasonable on a bike with 150+hp but was wondering what others experiences are around my age. Does anything in the 1000 class (likely going naked bike) fly under the radar a bit insurance wise?
Currently insured by Echelon but willing to move anywhere.
Looking for any advice... thanks
