I still hang individual buckets. With 100 acres I cycle thru different trees every year and usually have 3 or 4 clumps around the property so running hoses for a hobby would be a pain.

I am at 530 litres as of tonight. I will boil Sunday as Saturday is supposed to be rain and my setup is outside

Trying to tap a 100 year old cast iron kettle worries me. I think the stainless bolt with washers on both ends may be my 1st attempt. Thanks!
