Cheap GPS device @ Canadian Tire, may be great for warm weather rides.

I got the "medium-wide" version - I belive it was $40 for the box, and about $20 for arm and mounts... $60 total from Radio World (www.radioworld.ca) - 4335 Steeles Avenue West in North York. Their prices were practically half the cost of ebay or any other online store I found. I was suspicious at first because the prices were SO low, but I went to their store and everything was legit. Great store, highly recommend giving them a visit.

Yah, I really don't know why they have that padlock option - I obviously do not use it and just bring my GPS with me if I'm parking my bike somewhere. You don't even need a ziptie though - the box closes securely enough without anything... I've never had it pop open on me, and I dual-sport through some pretty rough terrain at times.
Cool. I checked their prices compared to gpscity and they are as cheap or cheaper and well picking up also excludes shipping charges. I need to get down and get the aquabox and ram mount. Thanks for the tip

Let us know how it works/looks with Curtis GPS. I'm quite interested, but before I buy a mount that costs as much as the GPS...

after you do the kicker skin i was able to get mp3 to play with the maps.
launch IGO then go to exit and then minimize..now it puts you back into the curtis menu..choose media/audio then start to play a song..next, put the unit to sleep..when you turn it back on it will go straight to IGO with music playing..the 1st song is 100% voulme then songs after you can control..only thing u can't select songs once in map screen..

Huh???? I must have missed this one.

Where is this mod????

Gurjon skin has the "Minimise" option as well. There are probably others too.

Tyre accepts standard GPS exchange files (.gpx) among a lot of other formats, so there's no reason why it wouldn't work with any GPS. If your device cannot export/generate logs in one of the supported formats you can always use GPS Babel to convert it. Disclaimer: I haven't tried any of this yet.

I tried and even if I am in "Advanced Mode" - Load Route button is awlays disabled.

I haven't tried it yet, so I can't say. It will probably have to wait until the first long and planned trip, but I may decide to use my Garmin if it proves more effective.

Foundn several docs on the net and converters - still cannot make it accept the route. I am thinking about installing garmin software on it - anyone tried doing it? If yes - which version did u use?

Thank you but I saw this one too :D
I have this GPS for a long time now and installed probably all possible hacks and tried different things but one thing is missing - importing routes to it. I'll keep looking :-)
Hey man if i can figure it out and get it working i should think anyone could do it .. what issues are you having?
