Brine is down

I hear if you coat acf50 all over the bike you are good to go, but I never tried.

Might as well put your bikes to sleep. Saw pretty much all bridges covered from one end of the city to the other.

****. It's 10 on the weekend -_-

If it's true, I'm done. Some bikes I didn't care, but I'm trying to sell this one.

Gotta wash my bike anyways... So much rain last week + construction areas = layer of dirt.

-_- I guess I'll be washing mine and selling it for real starting this weekend then. Mine looks like **** from so many rain days.

If you want your bike covered in salt for one day of riding go for it!

it all depends on how you maintain your stuff...
My bike is now being ridden through its 4th winter, has almost 60k km and not a speck of rust other than on my exhaust where it was rashed from going down and the chrome coating got stripped.
I'm not the type to clean it right away either...

brine. how i hate you...

Isn't Saturday supposed to be rain, followed by a warm Sunday? Hopefully the rain washes away most of (or all) of the brine, so we get one more day of riding in.

Also, this seems like it might be a long winter....

Brine is basically salt water of varying concentrations. For our purposes, the brine sprayed on roads is a mixture of roughly 1/4 salt and 3/4 water. If it is going to rain on Saturday, I'm surprised they've already sprayed it down. The city can literally watch money flow down the drains.

i'm sure you can see the same thing watching a city council meeting...

mine did pick up some corrosion last year. not a lot, just over some of the bolt heads, the foot pegs and the castle nut on the rear wheel. it was the third winter I had ridden it.

turned me off riding it this "winter"

Is corrosion that bad? I mean don't cars got it all underneath 'em?
