^This. driver education/skill is the biggest problem. cars naturally travel at 120 on the highways already until that idiot who is about to miss their exit makes 3 lane sudden lane changes to the right so they can make it and forces everyone behind them to brake.

How come they naturally travel at 88kmh or 104kmh in the US depending on whether there's a 55 or 65 mph limit? Seriously, practically everyone I see on roads over there goes nearly right at the limit posted.

Their cops don't mess around. Depends on the zone too. For example if you're in a state park zone you may as well shoot someone instead of doing 15 mph over. School zone fines are nuts too.

Dunno depends. Ohio is nuts. NY is pretty bad. PA on the other hand is very relaxed. I blasted by a few "village cops" and they did not even bother. People there actually like SS bikes. Most people smile and ask you for a wheelie.
