Why US and Canada (cities) suck.

Yeah, if you been to Europe in Winter they really know how to do up Christmas, even if you don't celebrate, it something to enjoy. Markets at most squares, city decorated like crazy (London was insanity).

I usually like to go to Spain in Mar or Apr weather is better, more stuff going on, the heat in July was crazy, lots more time inside this time around, but surprisingly not very busy. Most of Spain apparently goes on vacay around this time.

I have been in Jan, actually I’ve been there in Dec and all the months to May. The funniest is visiting in sometime in Mar and seeing locals in puffer winter coats, with me walking around in a t-shirt or a pullover

I'm following a thread on another forum that is discussing the rampant and brazen street crime in Barcelona; Gangs attacking and robbing people in broad daylight.

There is a issue with pick pocketing, and I believe there was some issues with street crime during the pandemic when people lost their heads, but it's a safe city. Spain doesn't fool around with policing, there is plenty of cops around and they come out in force at night to get rid of the rif raf. I've not felt there was any serious crime there. There is always people around as well, everywhere even at night when it's cooler and you can do stuff without the heat.
