Why Android is better than iPhone.

I'm of the opinion that the longer India and China stay relative s***holes, the better off we (the Western world in general) are.

And the argument about it being our issue from the sense that costlier labour in China will bring more jobs back here is kind of valid... but at the same time we've been voting on this issue with our dollar for the last few decades, and cheap (exploitive?) Chinese labour means cheap products on Wal-Mart shelves for us to buy.

I'm all for getting manufacturing jobs back here... but I couldn't possibly give less of a rat's *** about human rights in China. Maybe I'm a dick though. Foxconn has plants all over the world, so if the situation in China gets tough they have Taiwan, Brazil, Slovakia, India, Mexico, etc.

There was an article not too long ago that stated that the reason why Apple relied on Chinese manufacturing wasn't necessarily the price, but rather their mobility. They have the option to do a last minute change to a product that in North America would take months to implement.

Here's the article:http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/4609157...le-says-it-cant-build-iphone-us/#.TzXvbExWpZU

by the end of this year, everyone that read or replied to this thread will have iPhones, iPods, iPads and Mac computers.

They just can't help themselves.

Damn, I already have an iPhone, iPad, Macbook, Apple TV, and I haven't even read through this thread. Good thing I bought Apple stock.

Ooooops, i forgot AppleTV, etc....

They just don't know that they like it yet, mostly because of the prices....but when they get it, they will always say, " how did i manage this long without it!!!! "

LOL, I didn't have the guts to say it!
It was the most predictable joke ever, but a good jab.

Its just funny to see you guys continuing to argue about it, one guys knows how to google and the others just try to make their point. No one will ever win the argument.

Dude, the argument was over a long time ago when someone said different phones suit different needs.

...as long as the OS is still supported. :D

I have a Windows Laptop, and it comes in handy sometimes.....i will always try to keep one around.
Although i can install Windows on my Mac Air...it only have a 128GB SSD Hard drive, so space is limited. I plan to upgrade to a 256Gb SSD Hard drive($400), when i do, i will install Windows, hopefully Windows 8 is out by then.

Exact same here (128GB Air). Mine is the late 2011 model with the SSD soldered right onto the board though, so I can't upgrade. I gave Boot Camp with Win7 a shot, but in the end, it took up way too much space for something I only used once in a blue moon, so I gave it the boot.

I do most of my work on my PC anyway, my Air is just for when I feel like relaxing on the couch and browsing around.

for those wanting to boot windows on occasionally, you can install it to an external drive and connect it when required.

Do you have a tutorial saved on how to...would save me time looking. I have everything needed already, VMware fusion 4, 1TB ext. HD, Windows 7 copy, Boot Camp ready.....just didn't do research yet on how to, wasn't necessary, bored now.

I don't own a single apple product.
