-There's still the same old white cable you'll have to use to sync your iPad
-iPad 2's memory is exactly the same as the original iPad -- 256 megabytes
-Contrary to what rumor mill had been expecting, there's no improvement in screen resolution

-There's still the same old white cable you'll have to use to sync your iPad - is this a problem, really... how long does it take to sync anyways, just so you know, there is wi-fi syncing for iOS,.... plus all the accessories built for that connection.
-iPad 2's memory is exactly the same as the original iPad -- 256 megabytes - where is the proof, but if it is, damn that thing is still FAST!!!!!, maybe A5 manages better memory.
-Contrary to what rumor mill had been expecting, there's no improvement in screen resolution - what better screen resolution do you want out of the ipad, that thing is aighttt to my eyes, plus the ability to display in 1080P on external displays, enough said!!!!

iPad 2 with all that extra goodies, damn,,,,,what will be the outcome soon.

did you watch the video(link) i posted earlier.
again...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! This is it? This is the best the critics can come up with now????

Yeah, lets move away from a cable that over 400 million people in the world has lying around. Cloud syncing?? Which device syncs to a cloud? I'll wait. Who says its 256Mbs? Where is the proof?? And what the hell does the amount of RAM matter if the performance is world class?? A 9.7" Retina Display that nobody can mass manufacture? That would double the cost of the iPad?? [Charlie Sheen] AMATURES!! [/Charlie Sheen]

I have yet to hear the amount of ram but I would bet it has 512mb just like the iphone4. No way they are putting less ram in the tablet then their current smartphone.

Looks like CNN is just spreading more FUD.

CNN is retarded, they had a segment before the iPad2 launch saying that the iPad2 would have TWO DIFFERENT OS's...WTF??

"Adobe releases Flash-to-HTML5 conversion tool to reach iOS Safari, more devices.

flashhtml5.jpg

Following a preview in 2010, Adobe has finally released a pre-release version of their ‘Wallaby’ Flash-to-HTML5 file conversion software. The software is easy for developers to use and allows developers to drag and drop their Flash content into an Adobe Air application that will then convert it to HTML5 code.

The new code can then be completely edited in programs like Adobe Dreamweaver or manually by hand in text editing software. This new application from Adobe is a huge deal and developers can now easily convert their Flash websites and web applications for use on non-Flash devices like the iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.

It is important to remember that Adobe makes its money on selling developer tools and not on selling Flash plug-ins."

I've been saying this for a while... RIM is going under. Their stranglehold on the enterprise market is going to dwindle away, and since they're completely incapable of creating a competitive smartphone for the consumer market, they will eventually go out of business. Its only a matter of time now. Its a shame because they're a Canadian company, but they simply aren't keeping up.

"The reports of my death are greatly exaggerated......."

RIM has roared back despite blackberry skeptics

"Wall Street may be catching on as well. Morgan Stanley and Citigroup analysts are among those who have changed their tune on RIM lately, upgrading ratings and raising price targets."

In a world of Android domination, and Apple marketing, put my vote down for the "underdog". :)

.

last report i saw android was on 29% of the devices, apple on 27% and black berry on another 27%... now google doesn't actually make any hardware, their software is licensed by anyone that wants to slap it on some hardware whether the hardware is any good or not. this means two hardware vendors have 54% of the smartphone market with a multitude making up the rest... Just think if apple or rim licenced out their software.

It might frustrate the competition to hear this, but it needs to be said: the iPad 2 isn't just the best tablet on the market, it feels like the only tablet on the market. As much as we'd like to say that something like the Xoom has threatened Apple's presence in this space, it's difficult (if not impossible) to do that. Is the iPad 2 a perfect product? Absolutely not. The cameras are severely lacking, the screen -- while extremely high quality -- is touting last year's spec, and its operating system still has significant annoyances, like the aggravating pop-up notifications. At a price point of $499, and lots of options after that (like more storage and models that work on both Verizon's and AT&T's 3G networks), there's little to argue about in the way of price, and in terms of usability, apps like GarageBand prove that we haven't even scratched the surface of what the iPad can do.
