Yep, Tom doesn't count. He's in a world of his own.

I expect around the second week of March, about 70 days from now. Start counting down. Of course, a January thaw would be nice. Last January 12 I rode in lovely 13° weather.

For me (as nuts as I am) I pretty much figure the my bike becomes my default vehicle from the second Week of March on. I might ride it before that but don't count on it. In other words I expect to ride my bike but realize that on occasion I might not be able to becuase of snow, etc. FWIW I rode about 1,500 km in March of 2013, about 2,800 km in March of 2012, about 2,000 km in 2011 etc. (based on mileage when I filled my tank.)

more wild weather to come..be nice if some of it was warm before I high tail it off to Australia where it's been 54 in some areas coming off the hottest year ever recorded.

My poor KLR will be cooked.

just rode to the local gas station to get rid if the reserve light on the bike.
