who's still riding? (in toronto)

I haven't "officially" winterized the bike yet so it's ready to go on any nice weather.
 
As my only vehicle, I got a choice of $10 of gas for 2 weeks or about $5.50 a day bussing back and forth.

Picking up a brand new ninja 300 next week =D
 
Still Riding Daily in and around the downtown and midtown area, Going to get painful as I don't have any winter gear, still wearing a mesh jacket and shorty summer gloves with vents numbing my fingers!!! plus my choke(enrich circuit) is stuck partially open and I need to redo my valves for the Fifth time cause I suck at it #venting
 
how are the deals now? (ninja 300)
wait until winter comes will be better deal?

why are there no green ones on the canada website?

As long as it's at least 6-7°C and I'm feeling the "itch", I'll go for a ride. Just gotta make sure I stay the f*** away from the country side. Too cold up there.

The 2013's are selling out quick around the GTA. The green ones are only available in the Special Edition (SE) models.
Kawi's deal is $300 off MSRP but you gotta shop around and compare prices to get the best price :P
 
As long as I still have monday and tues off work next week ill be out a little. Tues night will be winterizing bike and car though.
 
Commute every day, 1.5 hrs each way and will be until there is snow on the ground, temperature is irrelevant - got good quality heated gear. I am very nice and warm when I ride :)
 
can still get the tires warm in the cold.

but the racing DOT R-10's are slippery when I head out.

i better get the watter wetter out of the rad and replace it with coolant.
 
I still have 1 month and change for my broken leg to heal, so will be riding hopefully by end of November or early December....my riding season is about to begin. Normally I ride all the way into the first day the temp hits below Zero...so for the a last few years it's been mid December.....

I wish I wasnt such a lil ***** about cold weather LOL

Once the temp hits under 10c, thats it for me, hibernation mode starts lol
 
I have no heated gear so my threshold is 5 degrees so anything below that and I refuse to go out. I did that last year and I vowed never again! This week, the mornings have dipped to 3 or 4 degrees where it feels like -1 or zero so I didn't commute once. I have to invest in a heated vest/gloves!
