Turned out to be a really nice day out. Quick 300km scoot to Port Perry today to get some meat pies from the butcher (best pies we’ve found). Maybe pushing the top box weight limit a bit. 6 large meat pies, 2 roasts, 1.5L choc milk, cheese, water bottle etc.
Lots of bikes out there today which was nice to see.

Got out for a 20 minute scoot to let the stabilizer mix and heat up the engine. Dropped the oil upon return and the big clean tomorrow in the garage. And then it’s nighty-night.

November 10 2022, Last ride of season and then put the bike into storage at K-Tec in Kingston.
120 kilometers - Partialy overcast at 15 degrees with winds 20kph - 40kph
My rear shocks are set up for 40lb of luggage so ride was a bit rough.
Checked out some of the roads for the "So You Think You Can Read A Map" Challenge 2023
175 km with 50+ directional changes!
more details to follow.

You already predicted your last ride for next year??

Well it's snowing in the hood, I guess that is the final signal the season is done....

Just excited about next year already

If we get a warm'ish day (10+) and the roads don't have a white haze on them I have no issue taking a bike off tender and going for a boot.

Having said that, the long range 14 day forecast looks way below 10 for the rest of November.

Full on sadness. Went for a friggin cold cold rip on Sunday. Decided that was it and parked/winterized it.
I thought Saturday/Sunday were both pretty decent. 4-5 degrees isn’t bad at all if you dress properly (and it’s sunny….which makes it feel warmer!).

But today and the 14 day forecast doesn’t look promising 😩

tis the season of electric vests.....

$40 on Amazon. Hard to turn that down.

Went out for all you can eat wings at hooters last night for my buddy's last night in the country. 5 degrees on the way downtown. 3 degrees on the way back home. 30 minutes there, 30 back, it was fine.

People will cry that riding season is too short in Canada, not realizing that they're the ones who set the start and stop date...

Damn! looks like bike parked this morning, just a little too much snow on my country road.
Haven't had time to put the studs in yet;), Well hopefully this is just a temporary spat by mother nature.??

Temps aside I always park the bike once they start laying down brine and/or salt, which they did around here 2 - 3 days ago in anticipation of below freezing temps and precipitation. Yesterday we had a mix of snow and rain and I woke up earlier to a blanket of snow here in Mississauga. So Tracer will get its last clean and oil/filter change on the weekend and that's it until late March or so. I've got lots of things planned for the next 4+ months to keep me busy.
