Twiss Rd today. There's so much sand, I was laughing while going up the hill, thinkin' I'd bin it any second. I'm sure it would be even more fun on a dirt bike.

Been out a couple of times, roads still slippery so easy going for now.
Need tires on the Vee and FJR - hard to find matched sets and what with tire prices? Canadian prices used to be comparable between Canada and the US, local prices are about 150 a pair more expensive.

Been seeing alot of new young riders out there
First day of spring riding! Should we be starting a new thread?
Temps are still cold - hit a high of 12° today. Been getting out daily and riding around town a lot, but around this time of year is when we also venture out a bit further, tip-toeing through our favorite roads to see if the corners are clear of ice, snow, sand and gravel.
Lakes and ponds still frozen. I'm guessing another month or so before things clear up, both with the weather and roads.

Try "Pete's Superbike". You have to setup and account with them (no charge) to get prices. Even with shipping have been very good prices.

My bike is due for service tomorrow, allegedly snowing. At mechanics now with the X5 for tire swap and oil change. When I get home I’m calling bmw roadside to tow it to the dealers. Hurray for roadside during warranty.
Oil change, 10k service and Brembos installation (recall)
I picked up my bike around 5:30 and did a little loop around Lake Simcoe. Maybe 130 km.

Dunlop has a $60 rebate for a pair. You just missed the Michelin road rebate, but they have an off-road rebate that I haven't looked into. 'Tis the season...

Might be waiting a bit longer, the next 2 weeks kinda look like crap...low temps and little sun.
Yep it’s unfortunate but I at least had a couple “dirt runs” and while short it helped

Hoping to do a small loop of Kawarthas tomorrow afternoon on my Trident 660, and neighbour with his Tiger 800. Supposed to be 10C without windchill. Will be bundled up, severely hoping I can squiggle my heated gear dongle to attach to the battery.

Thanks. When you ride down Queen St and hit the final stop sign, drive through the intersection into the parking lot, then onto the board walk and ride towards the water/ice. Don’t worry if you get weird looks
