So @V-Tom how's it looking today?
You and @bigpoppa are going to pay for this jinxingStarting to feel like we are getting closer to spring. +5 in the city. Whoo who!
At axle deep, isn't it better to switch to sleds? You also have the perfect place to play with snowbikes. Most of us are territory limited with them and the snowmobile clubs don't like them.
I'm fixing up a sno-scoot to hopefully trail groom next year, there's a lot of rock and trees with tight turns in the trails to deal with, full size snowmobile would be hard pressed to travel most of the terrain here without wrapping it around a rock or tree. Snow-bike, would love to see what one would do here, right about now would be the time but it's going to be a very short season for snow anything. At axle deep, isn't it better to switch to sleds? Why don't the snowmobilers like them? Is it like skiers vs. snowboarders back in the day?At axle deep, isn't it better to switch to sleds? You also have the perfect place to play with snowbikes. Most of us are territory limited with them and the snowmobile clubs don't like them.
I suspect it probably boils down to insurance (like everything else). I understand not letting ATV's on many trails due to the huge ruts they tend to make but I wouldn't expect a snowbike to be substantially different than a sled. I truly don't know the real reason but I have been told that snowbikes are not allowed on the trails. Private property only. Why don't the snowmobilers like them? Probably the same reason x country skiers don't want anyone on their groomed trails. They wreck the grooming. Why don't the snowmobilers like them? Is it like skiers vs. snowboarders back in the day?
I saw two today . One was a girls on a sportster on Kipling . Gave her a honk and thumbs up .I’ve seen 5 or 6 bikes out today

You can kill people with impunity on bayview, but heaven forbid you speed a little.I was out yesterday and today, too nice not to take advantage. Only a boot around the 'hood so I only saw one other bike (northbound on Bayview). I did enjoy the cop picking cars off on Southbound Bayview like fish in a barrel, especially the idiot who failed to notice the extremely enthusiastic Porsche warning everyone of the speed trap so tore past the rest of us, only to be pulled over 50m away. ? Anyone who gets caught speeding on Bayview is an amateur, the cops practically live there. ?
Bayview and Lawrence? yeah i almost got toasted there. thankfully he pulled over the car next to meI was out yesterday and today, too nice not to take advantage.
