imo way too early for this thread. start it up end of november. fall riding is the best riding.

Went out this morning up the 404 and rode over to the 400. beautiful fall colours and 22 C outside!

Rode the back way from Oakville to Penetanguishene today... Then blasted down the 400/407 to get home.

Lowest temp was 13 degrees... 'Never realized how hot my grip warmers get (first time I've tried them)

Was supposed to do a ride up to dorset for fall colours yesterday, but it was cancelled...not without merit, some areas up there got flurries yesterday, and yeah, it wasn't very pleasant temperature wise.

Nor is today, as I look at the frost on my pool deck.

Speaking of which, I suppose I should get around to closing the pool.

Crzy at the Forks ...opted for Hockley ....sooooo many bikes. Really nice out. CBx was okay - do have to stir it a bit but there is enough power there. Side bags not noteable. love the cheap fill ups.

River road today, Fairground road, Creemore. Roads this afternoon were surprisingly quiet. Fair amount of bikes out. Sunny and 16. Perfect! Thinking the FJR will be going away next weekend. 16000 kms this year. Was a great season.

I got out for a bit today and saw lots of bikes out.
Fall colors are brilliant.
I'm still hopeful for a weekend away to PA.
53000km on Charlotte now...not bad for a 2017.

No. If anyone wants to come for a polar bear dip, it's a balmy 10c right now.

Next weekend I guess. I got strikingly little accomplished this weekend aside from holding the couch to the floor.

There was a traffic pile up at forks last evening- have no idea why though! We decided to ride to Hockley and avoid returning via forks.

The damp weather makes for packed sand and allows much better traction.
Fall riding is great in the Ganny and Simcoe County forests as they are both so sandy.

First year doing dirt and everytime we go were doing something new and different. With the terrain always changing it keeps us on our toes.

The damp weather makes for packed sand and allows much better traction.

Wimped out today but 11 and sunny tomorrow will get out. I'm also hoping for a PA run.

My cool weather gear will be set by the weekend and bike is broken in and side cases and better windscreen installed

Just waiting on some handlebar muffs later this week. Should be good for a few more weeks
