There was a (mildly salt encrusted) Buell parked at the Hurontario/Mayfield Timmies early this aft. I wasn't that anxious. It looks like it will rain Thursday then clear up Friday. If that happens, and if I get Friday's jobs done at a reasonable time, I might go for a short hop.
I whatever very optimistic weather source you're using, but sadly, the ones I'm using all seem to indicate it's going to rain pretty much most of the daylight hours.
Wind has been accurate and was at 10 for friday but looks like we will not get the warmth but will get the sun

Took the new bike out today for a short 30km hop and the long route before storage...chilly but fun to be out and about. Frak I miss riding....

Looks like it’s gonna be windy after the rain passes, and the roads are likely to still be wet, and if the special weather alert calling for patchy freezing rain in the GTA around midnight holds true, the roads will likely have a lot of fresh salt as well.
I called work and pencilled myself in to work instead. Otherwise it seems evident I’d just be sitting here on the couch watching TV. Might as well make some coin..we’ve been looking at cruises.

2017 Honda Rebel 500....wanted to try a cruiser and loved the look of this one. Rides nice but I’m still iffy about riding position. Being short I have plenty of room to move back or forward....seats not too comfy but will work on that.

That's the exact colour I have actually. I would've preferred the white....but that's only in the 300. If I get really bored I'll see if I can swap it out, but doubt it. Once I know I'll like the bike I may end up buying a hard luggage set (~$700..) but since I'm away so much for now I'll just stick to the stock bike with a tank bag.
I do need a windshield though!
Lot's of people do wraps now so a colour change or some added colour could be done pretty cheap. I saw the same bike with a blue vinyl strip on it and it looks great for under $100.
What the heck forecast are you looking at that forecasts 10 degrees this weekend?

I'm afraid that for a fleeting couple of hours on Friday it *may* be 10c, dropping quickly to -1c by the evening. Not worth the bother of taking the afternoon off, getting the bike out from under the covers and riding around in the salt water and rain.
