Where did you ride today ???

lakehurst road to the 507, west on 503, to hwy 121, to 49, to road 36, to pigeon lake road, to road 10, to hwy 7, and home. Just over 200k.

Rode the circuit around Pea Ridge National Military Park in Arkansas without a helmet. (20 MPH)

Rode out to Royal Distributing then up through Whitby in to Scugog county and north Bowmanville and back home. About an hour.

Short loop up to Brampton straighten a key out ( Bills Lock Service - no charge - nice ) and some errands.

Might yet go to Dover since it's cleared off.

Ride from Durham to Markham demo ride at Woodbune and N of 7. Did a 30 minute demo ride (mostly in the rain) and then in the rain ride home back to Durham.

Wow, I'm wet.

Also at the Rock the Red and spun an NC700 on a demo enough to know it's not on the list any more.

Rode from Wakami Lake provincial park (near Chapleau ON) to South Baymouth, took the ferry across to Tobermory, then rode all the way home. 700-plus km. Just got in now.

Buzzed around Mississauga and Brampton doing errands then up to the Forks- was showing 35 on the outside temp gauge on the Burgman. Bailed and came home to a/c.
I keep getting the urge to point it north until it gets cooler.

You didn't like the NC700 Mac? Anything in particular that turned you off it?

Too hot to ride today tho was considering taking it to the movies but van will work fine.

NC700 just was gutless and would take significant farkles to be useful for other than short trips.

Honda altered the sound to make it rumble.....stoooopid

They did however choose to have a 270 degree crank. This means the motor runs in an uneven fashion similar to a V twin giving the motor a little character. They also chose not to have a motorcycle style array of injectors, one for each piston, but one injector feeding the 2 pistons. With the uneven piston firing it's possible that the first piston to fire in the sequence takes the fuel charge leaving the second piston starved.

Liked the top storage that was it ....otherwise a yawn.

Rode up to Markam early this evening and rode back to Durham. Just got home. To bed. Wife and I are up at 6 and riding to Niagara Falls.

Forks loop yesterday - was tired so did not go far.
Longer loop today on a group ride - will just tag along and leave when I'm bored - Niagara area - will be nice to ride and chat ( lead rider has scala and we've done rides together before - of course Jay is late )

"don't judge a book by its cover" ... it was a disappointing 10K. :(

Good ride so far - interesting shall we say for one rider who shall for the moment remain nameless.
Pictures at 11 :D

Split up after an excellent morning ride along the escarpment roads -
Burgman and rider got a workout trying to stay in touch and on occasion in sight
... don't believe the ads about speed limit tho ;)
- Ridge Road was nicely clear of gravel and weather is simply superb
Oh yeah.....sure didn't get bored....kudos to leader.

some old friends and and some new to me - now down in the Fonthlll will head over to Lake Erie and Dover - love that Beadrider seat -.

Good 300k today - :D Got muggy and dull just as I arrived home.

I went for a nice little solo 117km ride via Hockley, Mono Centre, Mansfield, Terra Nova, Horning's Mills, Shelburne and back to Orangeville. A great way to spend a couple of hours in the saddle and reward myself after some yard work.

Nothing planned but get some gear at GP and Royal Dist. so....
Met some friends and went for brunch at Annina's in Goodwood (must-do when in the area) then through Ashland and down to GP bikes & Royal Dist. (My last throttle lock flew off on day one of a nine day trip! lol) headed over to Hampton (further than I thought, oops) to head up Liberty St. to Mosport then east to White Feather Farms. No Givi luggage among us so no pies today! Quick stop and as the local gas station is out of commission a quick run up to Port Perry for gas and a coffee. Straight across to be home for dinner and some rest for tomorrows ride to the Lake of Bays!

Todays Jaunt IIRC.
