Wow what a steal.
Forgot to mention, the BA pads require a bit of work to inflate them. Not much, but if you have lung issues it might be a struggle. I have an extra BA pad, if u want to test it I can lend it to you.
Foam pads aren't bad either. Light and fast. I will probably start using one for camping in warm places.

I have one of these and they stay inflated the whole camping trip and you do not feel a thing under you. I like them way better than those thick huge air mats. The big huge ones seem like they have to be inflated several times durring a trip. You move and you feel like you're going to fall off. Haven't been on a huge air mattress that I liked. Plus they are a bit much to carry with you and pretty heavy when you want to pack light.

Picked it up a crappy tire on sale. Supposed to be a 3 man, but really only 2. For myself perfect size lots of room for all my gear with room to spare. Light enough for the bike as well.
Under inflate it and it will work a whole lot better. Just enough to avoid contact with the ground plus a bit.

lol) and the pegs are square aluminium and look like they will never break. Just two poles, its super light and has a little room outside for my dirty boots. Packs up small and its super light. Its two man, with just enough room for me and gear. Coleman Avior X2, buy one.

Looking to buy my first tent/sleeping bag and other gear for some motorcycle tenting and possibly regular camping later on down the road. From what I've seen/read, a 2 person tent is pretty essential for fitting gear and other belongings. The Hennessey Hammock looks pretty awesome too and runs about the same price as a lot of quality 2-person tents I've seen; maybe a little pricier. I'm thinking of experimenting with camping in Ontario as a start and could really use some suggestions for gear. I will definitely check out Tent City/ Lebaron/ Europe Bound though.
My main motorcycle tent is an REI Half Dome 2. My backup is an old 4 season Mountain Hardwear Night View.
Important points for me:
- freestanding. Screw pegs.
- trivial to set up in the dark in 10 minutes or less.
- clips attaching the tent to the poles. makes for really fast setups.
- good quality fly that extends almost all the way to the ground (if not all the way)
- has a fitted footprint. I hate having sticks and sharp rocks damage the tent floor.
I love hammocks, but they can be a bit of a hassle if you can't find the right trees, or if you're camping in the middle of an old hydro access lane or an abandoned gravel pit.
