What kinda boots do you wear?

Alpinestars SMX-5 (GO GO POWER RANGERS!) for the street and Tech 3s for the dirt.

Have the same boots. wear them all day at work even. they are really comfortable.

I have a pair of Sidi Adventure Gore for Dual sport riding. Spendy, but a really nice boot.

if you are a size 42, i'd buy the dainese d-axial reciprocity has for sale.. those are one of the top boots.

I wear daytona evo sports

Agreed. They cost a good buck, but I love the fact you can get anothr shell for them once your sole/leather wears out down the road. The protection is quite good too.. they fit a bit narrow, and they are a bit higher in the toe area so I haev to angle my foot down more when using them to shift, but it's no big deal.

Random boots I got from Aldo. Happy so far.

Honestly not a really big fan of the issued Combat boots. Rather hot and annoying trying to get under the shifter in them. The Danners ^ are better at that, cooler in summer and are a higher quality boot.

If you do go with used CB's make sure to try them on as they are a metric fit and sized per individuals in height length and width. You could get a boot that they call size 10 (or whatever) but could be super narrow or super wide. EG: 280/92 They vary a lot in width. Just mentioning it if you do happen to get them online.

Again, newb here, but since I've looked at a few pairs of Fry's and custom boots, and I have had a number of motorcyclists ask me about my horse gear when I've been with the truck at gas stations over the years:

The toes are meant to have shod horses step on them. Still hurts of course, but protected. You have to get the ones without the elastic sides, but otherwise, they are a nice smart casual alternative to some of the clunkier, sportier gear. They seem safer than what some of the more fashionable fellows I've seen out there wearing anyway. (driving shoes? really?)

Girls may find paddock boots more appealing generally. (Iron)horse-crazy girls anyway.

I wore my Daytona boots for 10 years. Loved them, very nice fit.
This year I picked up a pair of Sidi Vertigo's. I just got back from a 4000km trip with them.
Great boot, nice vents on the side, held up well in the rain and. I might add a thin insole in them though.

No one with a pair of Thor 50/50's? I just ordered a pair about a week ago, but due to the strike I haven't received them yet. I read a bunch of reviews and they were very positive. Right now I'm doing the Thor MX boots if I'm going off road, but just my 8 hole work Doc's if I'm staying on road.
