What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

It should be in the rule book.

Which BTW is the same rulebook for both racing venues now (or so we were told), so why should anyone have to do anything new/different for shannonville?
Sorry, it's my first time going racing. I just wanted to make sure that I knew the requirements for RACE so that I'm well prepared.

You need one for return flow for the Rad, I can take a picture of mine and send it to you. You are welcome to come and check my bike and what is or not safetied etc.
Mine passed tech at both RACE and SOAR
Got it. Thanks.

Another question: what's the deal with catch cans?

Ah, you're too kind. I may take you up on that.

Good luck Mina, keep the wallet handy you'll love the racing bug.
Thanks Jay! I'm going in with very low expectations and I probably won't go until the last two rounds. Still have to get the bike prepped and get my license.

Suspension fully redone(front and rear)... A New man's bike...  (number will be coming off soon)
K&N cleaned
Front pad changed
Brakes bled
Redone safety wire to be less stabby

Still to do before Cayuga Saturday:
Plugs
Rear tire swap
Oil/Coolant
Put her back together...

Went to install a +3 rear sprocket. No dice. Chain too short. ARGH!
Oh well, what can ya do... buy a new chain. Sigh.

Stripped off all the OEM bodywork, lights, non-essential controls and electrical. Picking up some Armour Bodies for it this weekend. Shock ripped off a gixxer sixxer is going on the back with an Eibach spring, as soon as some parts come in from Race Tech. Front is already loaded up with Race Tech springs.

Hoping to have it all good to go for TMP Aug 1st

Add a single link and two rivet links. (Every time I go to Mosport DDT it costs me 3 rivet links)

Good idea.. but I think I will need to add 2 master links and about 3-4 links. The wheel was completely jammed against the swing arm with chain pulled tight, so it has to be moved back at least 1 full inch, and have some slack.

I wonder if you would be allowed to race this bike next year at CSBK?

One step at a time :p I need way more time on the track first.

From what I can gather though, the 300 series is going to have a strict set of required components to keep the bikes as similar as possible.
