What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Got track fairings for it yet? Last time I saw it it was still stock bodywork.

Engine protection, frame sliders, axle sliders were more important for this year. Hoping to have track body work by 2015. Slow change over...

I found a new sponsor so the Yoshimura exhaust will be coming off and replaced with a full Hindle race exhaust!

Stumbled across a deal on some Galfer Lines at the spring show. Thanks Dave! (Competition Cycle)

I have snipes 20 old fairings for an 08-10. Not sure what year yours is. Front and bottom are crashed and repaired, tail is repaired but still needs tlc. Yours for free if they fit. I just want to keep dave busy. :)

It's an 07. ...and I've got enough to keep me busy! haha... you should see the list of work I need to do on my track bike and dirt bike! I also bought a new garage door opener that needs installing. ;)

Bellypan, numbers, slicks...

I'm going back to DOT race tires this year. If they're good enough for CSBK, AMA, WSB, etc. who am I to argue?

My understanding is that the slicks last longer than DOTs...

would like to try the new 200 superbike pro's, but already bought some superbikes and supercorsas. Next time.

The advantage with DOTs is that you can sell them to street rides once they are done for track getting at least 100 bucks back. With slicks you are **** out of luck

Yes, a very little bit. I talked at length with Sandy (Pro6) about this, and the cost of slicks vs DOTs wasn't worth the extra life you MIGHT see from slicks.

Or use them myself, on my own street bike. :)
