I don’t see anything ‘amateur’ about that hairdo. Good job @Wingboy!
I just go with that, but my mechanic strongly believes that the recommended interval between synthetic oil changes as specified by many manufacturers is too long, esp. with BMW and Volks/Audi
Hmm....I knew someone with a 2019 Mercedes, little 2 door convertible, her normal service interval at the dealer was the same, 24,000 but I don't recall it being free for her. In fact, I think it was like $1200 or something like that. I expressed shock and doubt at both the interval and price, but she only cared what the dealer said.I remember when BMW started including free maintenance during the warranty period, the oil change intervals magically increased to 24,000 kms, even though most of the motors were the same as the previous year with MUCH shorter intervals (I think it was 8000). Some of us stuck with the original intervals while others believed 12,000 was acceptable. But definitely not 24,000, unless you didn't plan on keeping it past the warranty. I wouldn't be surprised if all manufacturers including free maintenance play the same game.

And of course the effing jack is no longer a danger to your shins. (If given the chance to redesign the human body more meat on the front of the shin bone would job 1)Well I put on new rear brake pads and did a clutch adjustment.
Also a while back I got a bike lift from crappy tire, I didn't like the way it locks into place. I created my own lift support out of wood I could leave the bike on and remove the lift. (@mimico_polak this is what I was talking about)
Feels safer this way.

When I do my car tire swap I just remove the Jack handle so I can’t hook on it by accident. And of course the effing jack is no longer a danger to your shins. (If given the chance to redesign the human body more meat on the front of the shin bone would job 1)
Big thumbs up for not using a chisel on your chain adjuster! At this point, it's one more nut to remove the sprocket and cush for easier cleaning and inspection.
