Put the Hyper-lites on my Tenere. Had to remove a ton of stuff to get at the wires i needed to tap into. Only have 300km on it, but this bike is really impressive.
Don't they have a plug in kit for that?Put the Hyper-lites on my Tenere. Had to remove a ton of stuff to get at the wires i needed to tap into. Only have 300km on it, but this bike is really impressive.
I went to do that for the ones in my pool house last year, but the trap wasn't big enough.Trapped a(nother) racoon. 4th this season -- this little one tore out a pot light from the soffit to gain access.
I think it's time to get back into the hat business.

I have the BIG trap. I got one out of our pool bar roof last year that was 35lbs.I went to do that for the ones in my pool house last year, but the trap wasn't big enough.
No plug n play.I'm fine with posi-taps for little led stuff.Don't they have a plug in kit for that?
I hate when I or others have to "tap into" wires.
I may have killed a raccoon with a bb. If it happened, I might have been scaring it away from the cottage and it fell 15' onto its head.No Canadian air rifle is going to do anything to a raccoon not enough muscle velocity
Sent using a thumb maybe 2
BenMax .22 air, 850fps with an 18 grain pellet. Should do the trick! No Canadian air rifle is going to do anything to a raccoon not enough muscle velocity

Need a PAL for this rifle. Pfffft!
Im ok with trap and release, what I don’t like is the rules. You can dispatch problem critters or release them no further than 1km from where they were trapped.had a co2 .22 pellet gun. it would almost go through 3/4 plywood with a fresh cartridge. no pal req'd.
please don't kill rocky !! keep using a trap!! every living thing is important.. teach our children well. but then, maybe if you needed a winter hat..
worked well on grouse, never tried it on wabbits - too iffy. racoons are pretty tough.
Friends were invaded by raccoons. Every few days, the animal control company would be at the next house down the street. That municipality was very pro-animal. Install one-way door for x days, then seal and reinforce area. Trash bandit moves next door and repeats the cycle. Over and over and over. The one raccoon was probably good for 10K to the animal control company.Im ok with trap and release, what I don’t like is the rules. One a raccoon solves opening a soffit, it goes on their permanent resume, so releasing them back into urban areas impacts another homeowner.
I is a dilemma.
Crazy...you can shoot em dead but can't trap and release them further away than 1 km? Who comes up with this stuff?what I don’t like is the rules. You can dispatch problem critters or release them no further than 1km from where they were trapped.
Raccoon huggers I guess. They say relocation is very stressful, particularly for city raccoons who have become dependent on subsidized food and housing.Crazy...you can shoot em dead but can't trap and release them further away than 1 km? Who comes up with this stuff?
