Why swarm the cop or why should the cops spend the time and effort to catch them? The answer to both is probably "there is often more to the story".
It could be as simple as pack mentality and not wanting their buddy to catch a ticket all the way to warrants/drugs/guns.good point!
i meant "why" have this kind of behavior! from the bikers...
10 or 15 spike strips tossed into the gaggle would fix the issue quickly.
Honestly surprised the police don't have some sort of spike cannon for situations like the "Ride of the 6ix" stupidity that went on a few years ago where all the idiots basically shut down the DVP to do wheelies and burnouts.
No need to maim/kill anyone over traffic violations.
Because BramptonWhy are they not wearing helmets?

Then we have the hit and run on the gardiner this morning where the reporting says the bike was likely in a pack of bikes and came in contact with a vehicle. It sounds like a decent chance that two bikes made contact and the pack took off. Hit and run is even worse if it turns out to be your riding buddies leaving you to die on the road.this is the kind of thing when it becomes public that the parents say, "oh he was such a nice kid.."
by reading the story it gave me the idea that the guy pulled over was likely high ranking in some sort of organized crime/protected group and called his club or associates to help him out.
