happened recently in Manila (Macapagal blvd.), guy runs away from the police, ends up crashing his bike & loses something else.

this is what happens when you try to run away from the police, wear your gear at all times, ride responsibly, don't be like a squid.

maybe you should add nsfw or "gruesome" or something of that sort...

Questionable as to whether typical street gear would have saved his foot. Running from the police was one of his many mistakes.

Wow, not a nice site... but if you think about it even with gear on your leg would still be mangled. If there was enough impact to sever your leg your gear isn't going to do much.

Still think it's dumb to run from the cops and I'll wear gear cause I like my skin and joints:)

As plenty of local losers will demonstrate once again this year, even ATGATT won't save your *** if you insist on riding in a manner that will not only increase your chance of crashing to begin with, but will also overcome and defeat any safety margin provided by that gear when you do go down.

guy runs from the cops on what appears to be a scooter, in flip flops, shorts and shirtless. Can't imagine how anything bad could happen:rolleyes:

I hope he made the wise decision to wear a good helmet

If this is real, too bad, He needs to do some research on Darwin while healing.

It's wearing "gear" not "gears". Even leather won't keep you from losing limbs. Helmets, I happen to believe in.

That would suck if that actually happened, however it is incredibly fake, lol! Nice clean amputation for a scooter accident ;p

I sure hope it's fake. Acting stupid or not, losing a foot is one hell of a punishment...
 
yeah you'd think after losing a leg there would be blood all over, especially if enough time passed for that crowd to build

What gear would have saved him? A suit of armor?
Even in full boots and gear you can have a limb sheered off quite easily.
