Yup waiting on the pre orders for the metal ones also. The rifle only came with one huge metal mag pinned to 5 so I grabbed 2 plastic Beowulf for now just to play with until metal is available.

Urban tactical in brantford, $39 + tax not sure if that's bad or good bit they had a bunch and I was already there so I bought one

Smart.. Sell them as soon as the metal ones arrive! You won't be able to get hard use out of them before the doublefeeds happen, so you're better off selling while they're still in reasonably good shape ;)

It's been a week since my last shoot. I'm having withdrawals. Stupid waiting for my safariland holster.

Don't worry... I made sure to show up and have enough fun for both of us :p Put the Miculek brake back on the AR and was able to land groups of 5 shots on target before the first piece of brass would hit the ground :)

Sorry if this question has been asked before. What's the best course to get a license in Toronto? Closer to Richmond Hill would be nice.

I did mine in the opposite direction. Barrie Gun Club runs a course at the very Southern end of Barrie. I found it to be the cheapest and they provide a lunch. Dino was a good instructor too, I enjoyed the class.

I went to Urban Tactical in Brandford on Tues, put 140 rounds through the rifle, and a couple hundred through my new pistols. The range was nice but really small, and very relaxed atmosphere there. I paid and was in and shooting in minutes, and we basically had the whole range to ourselves. And I really like that you can have more then on firearm on the table at once, because at my range its only one out at a time...

Weather looks good this week and I have 1100 rounds of bulk 5.56, hoping to make it out to Silverdale for some distance shooting

That range looks all new and fancy from what little I can see. Lol my range you can have more than one firearm on the table which is nice. Makes shooting quick and easy.

It is and the target system is so fast and smooth I almost retrieved a target right into my face. And in each booth you can dim the lights, which is nice because my RMR reacts differently to different lighting so I can adjust it to work well with it..It was really relaxed there, I liked it.

If it wasnt so short of a shooting distance Id seriously think about being a member there. My range will be all new also so I hope its just as nice maybe even nicer, they ripped out everything and already installed a new back stop on one side. They posted some pics, but I have not seen the booths or the target system yet....In the mean time Im going anywhere I can get an invite lol

What used to annoy me at that range was the target system.. you'd send the target out and it would just sit there swaying for a good 3-5 mins. Hope they changed that.

At urban Tactical or Target sports? At Urban that was not the case the lines were so tight. At Target yes some are worse then others and would sway, Id pick and choose my booth and get one that was decent. That should all be new now with the new renos

My Taccom reliability parts arrived and took about 5min for them to go in ;) Test-drive tomorrow night after a bit of IPSC pistol fun :p
