If they did then they would be safe, until they starved from not being able to climb down and get food or water. It also takes time, work, and noise to make something like a treehouse so by the time you'd be done, you're already long dead from all the walkers you've attracted.
 
If you like Walking Dead, check out Z-Nation on Syfy -- the acting is terrible and the script is horrendous, but there is much less drama and a lot more action than Walking Dead, and it's hilarious (Amish zombies, for example).
 
I'm actually impressed that when Carol shot the propane tank it didn't explode immediately. A Hollywood cliché they didn't follow

I thought it was kinda cheezy but it guess it made sense realistically, just the way she lit it and you didn't really see any fireworks or how it ignited, just the explosion.

I was getting ****** off with Tyreese in that hut with the weird dude, he kept pushing buttons but Tyresse was being a pussy, and then he let him get the upper hand. I was yelling at the TV for him to at least knock him out for talking smack, but then he made up for it when he snapped outside came back in and beat him to death.

My least favourite characters right now are that Eugene guy and his buddy Abraham, man they killed off all the good people like Merle, Shane, Hersal, Dale. And add these two, not impressed with them

Gas need to be mixed with air before it can ignite. Think of a propane torch, what is preventing it from reaching the cylinder & exploding the whole tank?

Release rate vs. burn rate.

At least it was more realistic than the average "one bullet = one explosion" Hollywood crap.

I know the psychics man, my beef was with the fact they only showed her lighting the fire work and the explosion...They did not show the firework actually igniting the tank, it did not show if she shot the firework directly at the propane tank like a rocket. Or if she shot it in the air and the falling firework shower of sparks ignited the tank....I know I know its a TV show about Zombies, but still some things are just cheaped out on

You have to watch carefully, but they showed the firework flying into the gas stream.

Like a rocket? She had it pointed in the air, so I assumed it was the spark shower falling that would have lit it. I missed it on TV so I watched it online, not the best quality so maybe I missed it or it was cut out...

Flies a bit too straight, for my liking, but still better that the usual Hollywood crap.

Are you saying a propane torch doesn't explode because the burn rate is slower than the release rate?

I'm using propane as an example, but the same would apply to any combustible gas. But you're deflecting the question so anyway...

Agree with your synopsis. Can't believe the number of complaints about z-nation that "it isn't the walking dead" ... it's so obviously not trying to be. It's the 'anti-walking dead' for all the 'walking dead' complainers that there isn't enough action / zed killing.
 
I like Z-Nation, it's The Walking Dead-Lite. And the characters actually call the undead Zombies. Great little winks to other zombie flicks like the Twinkie scene, an obvious nod to Zombieland.

Im not that smart but I would have to guess outward pressure, outward pressure will not allow oxygen to enter the tank and make the mixture of gas/oxygen required to ignite or explode inside a tank or canister?

So if you're low on gas you risk an explosion of that tank?
