This. OP read it and take it seriously.Man... sometimes when reading your ****, I think I'm going to be reading posts about you deciding to "check out permanently" like Jamie/Toysareforboys.
I'm really hoping that's not the case...
You make your own happiness.
Stop comparing yourself to others.
You need a smack upside the head, but in a good way.
You might say you wouldn't off yourself, but with your mentality, all it would take is a little push.

Now I'm just going to imagine this is what everybody is doing when they blow past me at umpteen million kms per hourI wasn't the dater or the datee but I knew quite a few girls that had relationships with people 20+ years older. Normally lasted less than a year and involved trips, allowance, etc that substantially changed the standard of living of a starving student.
EDIT:
One memorable event had the older boyfriend doing a 350 km cannonball run in 2:15 in a Jeep while drunk for a booty call. Fack. She told him that she had an exam the next day so she was going to sleep at midnight. He made sure he arrived in time to take advantage of his investment. Moron.
Which explains why GTAM gets so grumpy over the winter. You'd think the GTAM crowd would be mostly immune to chronic depression. My mood immediately improves after a motor and/or pedal bike ride.
I’ve never been into watching sports on tv. Sure when playoffs happen I may watch…but regular games no chance. But there's hockey on TV.
same, I might tune into a playoff basketball game here and thereI’ve never been into watching sports on tv. Sure when playoffs happen I may watch…but regular games no chance.
To each their own I guess. I love watching live sports (except baseball) due to atmosphere…but on tv…meh.
I'm definitely the sibling that would try to sneak your kid a PS4 if they showed the slightest interestI was a big gamer as a teen and young adult, and in hindsight it was 100% *caused* by depression/anxiety. Playing the guitar is what saved me from what I now largely consider to be a waste of time. I'll play a few games of NHL with cousins and nephews at Christmas, that's it.
I don't restrict my 7yo son's screen time, mostly because he gravitates towards educational content (he's into Minecraft and roller coaster designing games, both of which are awesome), but if he ever gets into that FPS nonsense (or ******* poker) Ima nip it in the bud.

It could work with the right participants. For most people, I think it would likely add a lot of complication to their lives and likely is the precursor to a complete breakdown in the primary relationship.polyamorous relationship would be interesting.

EDIT:
Friends of my parents (husband (M) and wife (F) married for ~40 years with multiple kids) built a lakeside retirement house in conjunction with a friend (F). Each party contributed money and they were going to share the house (theoretically as friends). You'd invite husband and wife for dinner and friend would show up with them. Ten years later, wife was officially hooked up with friend, husband was dumped and they sold the house as they couldn't afford to buy him out. Wife and friend got 75% of the proceeds, husband got 25%. That wasn't enough for him to buy something else. He's retired with fixed income so he could make a downpayment but bank won't approve much of a mortgage.

There's lots of stories. One night at Sex with Sue, someone wrote a question on a card that they were too afraid to ask publicly. Their boyfriend has ahem "made a deposit" in their eye a week ago and their vision had been blurry ever since in that eye. They wondered what to do about the issue.Greyghost needs to start his own steamy letters from the penthouse thread.
Feel like we might be related, that takes me way backOn a serious note: I appreciate the concern and it's absolutely valid. I'm aware of what's happening to me mentally.
Read that lol
