Here's the problem. If you start "spreading lies" around the place, then you become the "HR problem" that they will resolve in an expedient manner.
 
To do what with? Make paper airplanes? I already reported the guy to the fire chief. Who knows what he did, if anything, perhaps he deleated the email as spam. That's the extent of what the cops will do in this situation.

Whatever police will decide to do with it - main thing for you is to have official record of what happened . Don't be silly and report it.

Not lies, fact as it was reported to HR and the company. Only fair all coworkers know who they are working with. Kind of like a pedophile in the neighborhood situation.

HR is not interested about him deliberately backing into my bike as that happened off of company property. Nothing they can do about that. What they are obliged to do is look into his harassing rants, threats and shut him the **** up.

Under the occupation health and safety act they are required to take every precaution for the protection of the worker. By the same act I am required by law to raise all issues pertaining to my safety. I did that. Now the company is obliged to deal with matter. Failure on their end will result in my filing an official complaint with the ministry of labour. Going after me would be reprisal.

The ministry of labour is obligated to send an inspector to review matters pertaining to health and safety. I am not in union, so the union can go **** themselves. There is no union for the company to hide behind here.
 
Your right the police have no business in public, that`s to be dealt with by the work place......even though it didn't happen at work.

Him backing into my bike is icing on the cake. It's his progressive rants and threats that is the issue. All happened on company time and property.
