No, they said in Toronto not including the 400 series highways. So basically 45 deaths in Metro Police territory in 15 years.
That number refers only to the city of Toronto. There have been only 45 motorcycle related deaths in ontario since 1995?
I agree... it opens the eyes to all motorists.I thought it was really well done.Bikes and some bike riders are dangerous. If you cannot accept this fact, get out now.The three GTAM riders did a really good job of representing us.Especially Goldie!
In all 45 motorcycle fatalities since 1995, the driver was male. Motorcycling is a male-dominated sport, but Steele believes that women make safer drivers than men. “We tend to be a little more cautious on everything,” she said. “Maybe we want to keep the species up and running versus knocking yourself out.”
I just thought this was a very poorly put together report (and WHY the tops story???)
heres the link to the video, what is your opinions?

That's over 64% of Toronto motorcycle fatalities in the last 16 years in which the motorcycle rider (and not some left-turner) was determined to be at fault. That to me suggests that the majority of motorcycle fatalities could be eliminated if riders themselves got their house in order, particularly as far as excessive speed is concerned.
...I am fine with the report other than I think at the end they should have just had a reminder that bikes are out now and they could have said to a reminder about checking blind spots and what not...
Goldie, the asian chick in the video if you do not know her, was injured by a vehicle pulling out from a side street (making a left turn).about the car drivers that turn left in front of us
many of us on this forum know that, but they neglected to mention that in the video.Goldie, the asian chick in the video if you do not know her, was injured by a vehicle pulling out from a side street (making a left turn).
