about 95% of all email does not get delivered. Cause its spam or virus infected. It was probably picked up by high level filters or your providers before it got to you. Its also possible they hackers only got part of the DB

Google "phishing scam" - no one has your payment details..... they are trying to GET them - if you are dumb enough to click the link and put in your email and password....then you should change your password with the REAL amazon.com immediately!

the real amazon has my payment details....and no, i didn't not click the link. The above email was sent to 'stop-spoofing@amazon.com'...

btw you shouldn't jump to conclusions before you go around calling people "dumb"
 
You guys better get your act together. This is getting ridiculous. It's been, what 6 times now? I have never seen a site get hacked so many times. You better change a provider or pay to get better protection or you may find people may want to start lawsuits over lost and compromised info. So pathetic.
 
Will the gtam booth be providing free antivirus software at the show this weekend? Or even save the tax on Norton etc?

It's the forum software. Anything from 4 on is crap and full of exploits. Internet Brand is more interested in making money than a good product. They probably hacked the site through the Install directory exploit. vB sent 1 email out about it to software owners, maybe Paul missed it. Even the vBulletin site got "compromised" and sent email to all software owners that their account passwords were changed! Quality!!

I got a fake paypal email. I'm thinking this forum is the source of this since I've never had one of these before.

Me too the list of emails was probably sold or farmed by scammers following the data breach. Just report the phishing emails to the relevant email addresses and delete them. I also got one for my apple account.
