Under 25 with a sport bike...what do you pay?

When I was deciding on what bike to purchase I created a spreadsheet for quotes. This might help someone get an idea of the rates.

I'm 19 G2 M2(May2013 will be 1year), Clean record.
I insured my bike when I was 18yo, rates may have changed slightly.

I never get full coverage thus none of those rates are here.

All your quotes are very similar to mine, (mine are about $100-200 less in some places).

G/M2 20 y/o no Convictions, 1 at-fault accident. 4 years since G1, total of 5 months with M1 before M2.

Age: 20
Bike: Honda CBR 250RA 2012

Your license classification: M2 (Got insured with only an M1- no G.)
How long have you had a license?: 0 year(s)
Tickets on your record currently: none

Location: Newmarket
Paying: $3,900/year- full coverage (Bike was financed)

I'm looking to get a SV 650 for next year but TD insurance can't quote me as a second year rider. So if I were to insure anything 600+ (Not a SS) it was $7,000.00. Oh and a CBR 600RR was 11,000.00 ..... :D

As soon as your M licence turns 1yo switch to jevco!
4k for a 250 is shooting yourself in the foot.

Ha, I do agree considering the bike is $4,500 MSRP and thanks I will defiantly look into that for next year!

Is my bike considered a supersport? I hope not. ('06 GSXR600)

I was quoted $3986 a year (liability only), bought the bike for $6,000. I called john duffy insurance brokers for a quote before I bought the bike, can't remember what company the quote is from though. I'm 22, 1 speeding ticket in last 3 years, full G (had G1 since 16), M2 since November 9th with RTI certificate (although I was told, by the broker, that the training certificate does f*** all).

ill just addwhat my insurance price is like

when i was 21 i got my first bike .. 1998 zx6r i was paying 65 a month .. after seling the 98 i bought a 2006 zx6r 636 and since i was 24 at this time i paid 81 per month ... i currently have that same bike and because of insurance rates increasing slightly, i now pay 90 permonth ... in january i will be picking up my new 2013 zx6r 636 and from what my statefarm agent told me , my monthly payments will go up by 5 dollars a month ... all of these prices are with full coverage and a clean record

Wow, 65/monthly that's great! Can't wait for 2 more years till i'm eligible for statefarm.

My renewal just came, surprisingly insurance going up
I'm 28 living in Toronto and have been asked $1112 for a 2008 BMW F650GS (800cc) and $1473 for a 2002 BMW R1150RS. I have both cars insured with them (only liability) and they suck up another $3300 give or take.
I've never had an accident or a ticket.

I feel I'm being gouged, but when I see some people here... WE ALL ARE! jeezz

You can't get cheaper quotes elsewhere?
