Lol just for fun I got a quote for 2006 R6 at Td-MM, the quote was over $10,000 they couldn't calculated because I was too high of a risk.

When I was 24 (4 years ago) I was paying $434/month with SF at the age of 24. That's on my 650R which is slightly higher on SF since they only charge by engine size. It was supposed to drop to $140/month when I turned 25 (which was 2 months after I got the bike). However, due to the way they charge you for the premium, even after I turned 25 (at the end of summer) I was still paying around $320/month for the next 3 months or so, which was annoying. I would've saved a LOT of money to just wait 2 months.
Why in god's name would you insure a 650 with State Farm!? I paid $2900 my first season with a SV650 at age 20. They rated me as if I had my M1 the whole time. My renewal rate should be under $1400.
Only a little more expensive than the next cheapest I found at the time which was TD. However, TD was going to charge me the "below 25" rate for the entire year even though my birthday was in 2 or 3 months. StateFarm told me it would change on the day of my bday so it would be way cheaper.
From seeing some of the rates on here (below $300 a month, with tickets, in Toronto, at 22-24) it seems I wasn't getting a very good rate even though my record is 100% clean (and was at the time) and I lived in Guelph area (lower insurance rate area). Maybe it was because I had just gotten my M2?
You were getting an "ok" rate for a 636 ZX6R... State Farm is the only provider that rates solely by engine CCs. Had you gone with any other insurer your rate would've been half.
Nope. Got quotes from all kinds of companies. Since I was under 25 and had been riding for under a year several companies refused to cover me, several others wanted to bill me as if I was 24 for the entire year, and several others just had insane rates. In the end the best rates were from TD and SF. TD wanted to bill the whole year as if I was 24 so I went with SF. Plus SF would cover my cars. Then I switched to ThePersonal later and moved all my vehicles to them.
I wish my parents would buy me a $10,000+ motorcycle.
