Victoria.

Just latched onto it about 5 episodes ago. Interesting. and I think the person that plays Queen Victoria is as cute as a button.

British history.

Ah, Jenna Coleman. She’s one of the main characters in The Serpent on NetFlix playing a French-Canadian woman.
Worth a watch if you haven’t seen it.

"Drunk History" on Comedy.
Just enough profanity to keep me awake at 2AM.

Line of Duty. I’m on season 6 and this has to be one of the best police dramas going. It’s about an anti-corruption unit and the writing and acting is top notch. In the various seasons you’re likely to find some well known faces from Westworld and The Walking Dead, Trainspotting among others. Complicated plots so don’t look away. Fantastic twists all over.

How are the later seasons? I recently found out about this series and started it, but found season 1 kinda meh.

How’d you manage to get hold of Season 6? That just aired in the UK.
Our girl Kelly Macdonald from T-Spotting and Boardwalk Empire shows up in Season 6 I believe.

I agree - a fantastic show...glad they grew out of that camera zoom in on faces fascination they had.

No one produces detective/police dramas like the Brits.

Stick with it. The later seasons get better and there’s a common thread that moves through them.
thanks for the recommendation, on season 3. Things are heating up.

I'd put this up there with The Wire for a great story so far.

Just finished Snowpiercer seasons 1 and 2.
Acting is decent. Premise of ice age is definitely plausible, having a train zipping around the world with a perpetual motion engine is absurd.

I have the last episode of season 6 to watch this evening. I won’t post any spoilers though. I’m a bit sad about this as I think it’s the last one they are doing.

Started watching the Sinner season 2 though and that’s really good too.

For another really good British police series Unforgotten is very, very good.

Snowpiercer is one of the more palatable sci-fi shows of late, I tried watching altered carbon and cant stand all the faux futuristic debauchery and cyberpunk vibe

Started watching line of duty...the brits really do like to soapify every fuckin thing dont they?

it seems decent otherwise, will continue watching more on faith

"Shadow and Bone" on Netflix - Just finished watching it yesterday. It follows a typical YA formula, but don't let that discourage you. The world building is very good and the actors sell it well. It's based on a series of novels and the world is pretty much Tsarist Russia, with a twist.
